This 90 page, full-color, coffee table book details a mostly solo and unsupported bikpacking adventure in the spring of 2024. Over the course of 32 days I biked from the hot arid deserts of New Mexico's Chihuahuan Desert across the ridge of the Rocky Mountains towards the stunning Canadian Rockies and Jasper, Alberta. I documented the trip through plein air ink and watercolor paintings created each day from the side of the road. This book features beautiful reproductions of the art along with essays about preparation, challenges and the beauty of traveling by bike.
